Four Thoughts

Greetings.

Raumi, Kelsen and I are all getting back to normal. Again we want to say Thanks to all the thoughts, prayers and gifts that everyone provided us. We are so thankful. We have moved on and we are hoping to put this behind us (as best we can) and carry on.

I have Four Thoughts for this Thursday morning.

1. Irony. As Kelsen and I were driving home recently we came up beside a Don's Driving School. Irony comes in when the driver of the care (off duty) was busy talking on her cell phone and completely oblivious to her surroundings. Note to self: DON'T send Kelsen to Don's Driving School.

2. Kelsen sat intently for Obama's speech to Congress. As they introduced President Obama, Kelsen was jumping around like a madman, chanting Obama, Obama, Obama. He apparently is quite fond of him and his stimulus plan, while I am still undecided. The one things Kelsen and I did agree on was President Obama's choice of tie. Kelsen told Raumi "I want a tie like Obama". We will see what we can do. Perhaps with that extra 13.00 per week we can splurge a bit and get the boy his tie.

3. Kelsen apparently is becoming more and more fond of his Grandma Shirley. Or as he likes to call her, Grandma Poops. "Poops" is a nickname Dad and I gave mom one Sunday before leaving for Church after she ran back into the house stating "Wait, I have to go poops". I guess it stuck and will probably stick for a while.

4. I have a new idol. Other than my dad, I think Adam Richman may be the coolest guy ever. His show Man vs. Food is great. He gets to travel around and try all these crazy food challenges. It may sound odd but the show is my obsession.

As for the snow....whatevah!
