To take a line from the band Staind...It's been a while (since I posted). I finally think I have enough "junk" to warrant a post.
The second photo is Kelsen getting ready for BIG Monday . Every Monday after we get home he puts his blue (North Carolina like Grandpa) or orange (Syracuse-because they are orange) uniform on and we watch and play hoops. This is a photo of him listening to some pregame music.
Before I get to the "junk" I wanted to update you on Raumi and Baby K. Well Raumi has been a tropper as usual. Some slight back and neck issues but nothing she doesn't work through. So all in all she has been feeling pretty good. She has her first appointment this Thursday I think. It has been switched a couple times so I may be off on the date. In any case it is soon!
It was Valentines Day this past Saturday and we got uber romantic with each other. Our old computer "crashed" last week so we "bought" a new one and called it our Valentines Gift to each other. One of Raumis best qualities is her agreement with "junk" holidays like Valentines Day.
We spent our "junk" holiday with some friends (Jay and Sara) and Uncle Neil. Pizza from A and B is probably the best Valentines Meal I had in a while. We also had a late lunch at Red Lobster, which was good.
Sunday the Gus women (and Tyler) stopped by with some TCBY for the little man. He loved it. I also am 99% certain he got his first brain freeze and although it appeared to hurt, it was hilarious!
All in all we are well and hope you are the same.
If you want my "junk" scroll down. If not see you next time.
1. What's so hard about a "courtesy wave". All I ask for is a courtesy wave, whether its someone crossing the street (JAYWALKING) or someone getting in and out of a busy parking lot. I don't ask for much so please.
2. I recently added KANSAS to my 50 state list. I now have 39 of 50. I thought I could get all 50 with a year but know it appears it is not going to happen. I will not give up. The project began on 3/14/08 and will continue as long as it needs to.
3. There is NO WORSE smell in the world than hamburger cooked in a microwave. I accidently pressed "cook" rather than "defrost" and dam near vomitted. Needless to say we didn't have burger that night.
4. For the record Raumi and I spotted 2 Christmas Trees still erect on February 12. Not much should be erect this time of year.
5. Yesterday the Kudrna's honored the Presidents by taking Kelsen to do what he wanted. He wanted McDonalds and bowling. So we went to McDonalds. I made a vow to myself to never take Kelsen to a McD's. I caved. I lost. We all lost. You should have smelled our basement yesterday..what the hell do they put in that food! Never again. Never! The meal apparently affected my bowling as well. Raumi ended with a 140 (respectable)..I had a 114 (shitty at best) and Kelsen managed a 86. It should be noted that Raumi did get both a strike and at least one spare with the assistance of the "bumpers".
6. Whats up with the # 2 Pencil...I feel sorry for the #1 pencil. All his life he thought he had it made being # 1 and now all people say is 'Sorry a #1 pencil won't work you need a # 2'.
DRINK TONIGHT FOR TOMORROW WE RIDE!
