Saturday's Rumble

Things are well here....as many of you know this is the "normal" time that I blog....which also means Kelsen and Raumi are in the middle of big fat nap....

Some thoughts for the past week....

1. KayCee and I went to U of Mary prayer day on Wednesday to listen to Immaculate Igellizae (I know I messed that up)..anyway she is survivor of the Rwandan Genocide...what an amazing story...

2. Starbucks should have a drive-thru limit of 2 coffees per vehicle.....We stopped today and the vehicle ahead of us got like 6 coffees, which took like 15 minutes.....that's not right.

3. Since I am on my soapbox...I like the Bis Tribunes Sports Bloggers but they blog about "national" things, I am pretty sure people want to read there thoughts about "local" things....like this.....

A. The WDA Boys BB tourney will be good...These 4 teams will advance....Bismarck-Minot-Dickinson and.....and.......Century.....

B. I am having a hard time supporting U of Mary's tranistion to Division 2.....we went to a game about 3 weeks ago on a normal winter Saturday night and there were like 400 people there and NO STUDENTS....come on Mary let the kids have some fun and get rowdy.....you don't think having no student fans there DOESN'T HURT recruiting.....if I was a college kid and had to pick between U of Mary and like MSU-Moorhead I would go with MSU every time....the have a great student section and their fans get CRAZY!!! (same goes for the football program as well).

C. I saw Austin Dufault from Killdeer play a couple weeks back at the double C....I gave him a pass because he was playing with some young kids who didn't appear to be very BB savoy...will reserve commenting on his skills and would like to see him play with some better players...either way its exciting to see a ND kid (CLASS B BABY) going D1.

D. Here's to hoping the Wildfire make it out of Region 7...always tough with Killdeer-Hazen-R/T and the ever popular (stick finger down throat now) Trinity.....yeah Trinity has made it to state 7 straight years but I would like to see how many times they would have made it if they played the tourney in a neutral gym.

4. Sorry but thats what sports blogs should look like....I mean if I wanted to here about Bill Belichick leaving the field I would simply log on to any major log site (ESPN, CBSSPORTSLINE) and get my fill.

5. I want to Thank Eli and the Giants "D" for winning me some money in the playoffs....

6. Saturn's SUCK...always have and always will....

7. What do the National Weather service and The Vikings have in common...they both get you excited (some blizzard this weekend) and then let you down...

8. I was at the DOCR Central Office the other day helping a co-worker move some stuff and if you don't think they need a new Central Office..call out there and ask for a tour...that building should be condemed.

9. Picked up a sweet T Jack practice jersey the other day at TJMaxx for 7 bones....

10. Laundry is done.......
