Olympics, Stress, and the Move

WOW!

In one word that is how I would describe the past week. It all began Tuesday with the move out of our house on Kost (notice the title of this blog has changed) and into a new house on Valley.

Things that we learned in our move.

10. 2 1/2 year old boys like more space. Kelsen loves his new playroom!
9. Closing is never a sure thing....several F Bombs later it did occur over 30 hours from its original date and time. Thanks to our realtor Linda (she is truly an angel..and that ain't no joke) we moved in Friday.
8. My sister Ronda has unbelievable strength and stamina for a 40 year old....Sorry the beer was not cold...that will NEVER happen again.
7. Raumi and her mom are Painting fools....
6A1. My parents were great.....great food....great fun...and most of all great love and support during our stressful time....and thanks for the fridge!
6. The last owner needs a book on lawncare....some delicate work will be needed but I am up to the challenge.
5. Neil is a MOVING MACHINE!
4. Raumi's toe is not broke....just very black and blue after stubbing it on the sofa.
3. Speaking of Sofa's......James new nickname is James Nash (A Beautiful Mind).....how do you do it James, please tell me, how do you do it.
2. SHELBY is a MOVING MACHINE!
1. It's nice to have a new home.....I won't be posting any pictures soon....we don't know where we packed the camera....once we figure it out...its on like Donkey Kong.

Thanks to all those who helped, Thanks to all those who offered and it didn't work with schedules, and Thanks to the Big Guy upstairs who guided us through the last week.

Stop on out sometime........we would love to have you!

Glad to hear that the move went well - now the fun of unpacking it all and setting up shop! Would love to stop in sometime and see you guys and your place...we'll see if that happens. We'll be home in Regent over Labor Day weekend.....maybe you will want to road trip in that direction on the 30th?? The deck party will be going on - we'd love to see you! Take Care and enjoy your new home!
