When you allow people to take photos of you making stupid faces you kind of have to expect this to end up somewhere on the web, right?
Okay
Now onto some good news and some bad news:
Good News. My good friend (probably my BEST friend until the age of 7 or 8) Karrie Jo and her husband Scott had a baby girl last week. We are very happy for them and are certain they will be great parents. I believe the baby's name is Melina Rose Jesch.
Bad News. A longtime Regent resident and who I (and probably many people) consider the heart and soul of REGENT RANGER Athletics, Joe Matasovsky passed away this week. He was ALWAYS at games in high school. It didn't matter where, it didn't matter when, Joe was there. He will be missed.
Raumi, Kelsen and I are all doing very well. Winter is getting long but we try to take advantage of every nice day we can get. Raumi is anxious to get outside to do some more landscaping, I am excited for softball and geocaching and Kelsen wants to "shoot hoops" in the driveway.
It should also be noted that Kelsen can fully sing the National Anthem . Although we have not yet got it on video we will keep trying. He still loves his movies and since going to a hockey game with Ronda and James, appears to like that sport to.
Now onto some thoughts and ideals:
* A new radio station has popped up in Bis/Man. 105.9 the Bob. It's not the best but it does give you an additional option.
* Question-How come on the Biggest Loser, during the weigh ins, do the females have to stand around in a sports bra while the men get to stand around in a t-shirt? Shouldn't the women get to wear a t-shirt as they are waiting and then strip off to the sports bra during the weight-in. Seems a little demeaning to me to make them stand there like that.
* I recently gained an addiction to Tootsie Pops. Do you Tootsie?
* It looks like the ND Legislature is looking at banning texting while driving. I have no issues with this AS LONG as they also ban drivers from being able to hold dogs while they drive. That is at least if not more dangerous than texting. You can't predict what a dog will do holding it while driving. I digress.
* On a side note, Is there a law against throwing cigarette butts out your window or on the street? If there isn't there darn well should be. Nothing like driving down the highway at 95mph with a half smoked Winston hitting your windshield. It's littering and it should be outlawed.
* I am working on a invention. Something that you can attach to a food (like Miracle Whip jar) that will notify you if the item has past its expiration date. More details to follow on this. Stay tuned.
* I am pleased to announce that this blog Vagarious on VALLEY has been recognized as one to the "Top 50 blogs to keep an eye on in 2009". It's humbling but I feel I deserve it. I put alot of time and thought into this darn thing.

i find the information on the tootsie pop to be both enlightening and informative. good job on the research. although i was only told that "good luck" comes to those who hold the "indian star shooter" wrapper, i like the idea of free tootsies better!!!!
