Winter is here. But with the Super Bowl again in the books, we can seriously start thinking about 2 things:

1. Spring
2. March Madness

The Family Kudrna was to travel to Fargo this past weekend to partake in a new tradition for Christmas. We go to Fargo, stay overnight and come back. Due to the WEATHER (or what they at least forecasted) we cancelled. I highly doubt we will go anytime soon.

We had a couple friends over for the Super Bowl. It was our first time hosting and all things went well. The playroom came in superhandy with the youngsters and the adults were able to conversate and watch the game in relative piece and quiet.

A couple things as I swore I would make this a quick post.

1. Have you ever attempted to park in the YMCA parking lot during a Saturday? It's madness I tell you. I think paying good money for a family membership should come with a priviledge. THAT said priviledge should be the ability to park in the parking lot and not 1 1/2 blocks away. No offense to all the Grandpa's, Grandma's and Aunts/Uncles who just want to see little Jonny play 2nd grade basketball but come on, should they be allowed all the prime parking spots. I digress.

2. I know that the Inaguaration is pretty much old news by now. I have to say Obama has stepped in it a couple times so far but all in all he is managing. His plate is full I will cut him some slack. But do you know who I WON'T cut any slack. That's right Hoda Kotd from NBC. As we watched her report from the BET inaugaration it appeared quite obvious to me that she was sipping a little too much champagne. Why you ask? Well after her interview with former Secratary of State Colin Powell she went in for the KISS! Sweet Assy Molassy!
